TRAIN
The Free Speed Project is a virtual training app for rowers. Being the first of its kind, the app allows individuals to train with their teammates, whether they’re erging side-by-side or separated by oceans and mountains. Through a simple bluetooth connection to the PM5 monitor, all athletes’ splits and rankings are shown in real-time.
The app is useful during winter training or any other off-the-water training that athletes inevitably face.
COMPETE
Knowing that competition brings out the best in rowers, we’ve built the live racing feature to allow individuals to sign up for races as a single. Coming soon, teams can create lineups and register for virtual races against other teams. This app is sure to continue athlete development and team building off the water, something that is crucial during these trying times. All users get to register for their first three races for FREE.
WIN MEDALS
Yes, competitors can win medals at various virtual events the Free Speed Project will be hosting this summer, and beyond.
COACHING
Coming soon to the Free Speed Project are team admin roles, which will allow coaches to create custom training plans and workouts for their athletes. All results will automatically populate into usable data, which can only be seen by team admins.
